SoHyun Kang is the Regional Managing Director of the Project Management Institute (PMI) for Asia Pacific, where she leads market growth and drives value creation for individuals, organizations, and societies across the region.

Since joining PMI in 2014 to establish the Asia Pacific office in Singapore, SoHyun has played a pivotal role in expanding the Institute’s presence. She currently oversees strategic functions including chapter engagement, volunteer development, corporate partnerships, channel sales, marketing and communications, and major regional events across 42 countries.

Prior to PMI, SoHyun contributed to the regional growth of global organizations such as the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), with a focus on community development and strategic execution throughout Asia Pacific.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Korea University and completed an executive program at the National University of Singapore. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM).

Based in Singapore, SoHyun lives with her husband and daughter.
