Project Management Institute Members Elect New Directors to Board for 2026-2028 Term

Project Management Institute (PMI), the leading authority in project management, has announced the election of new members to its Board of Directors. The newly elected directors will begin their terms on Jan. 1, 2026.
PMI members elected the following new directors to serve on the Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term:
- Danny Chung, DBA, MBA, PMP
- Stacey Dillon-Nicholls, MSC, PMP
The following current Board members were also elected to a second term, continuing their service through 2028:
- Diane Alsing, D.Eng, PMP, PMI-ACP
- Tom Bloemers, CDir, CPC, CMA, CSCA, SIP, PMP
The directors who serve on the Board of Directors provide strategic oversight, help influence the organization’s direction and uphold its core values. They work in close partnership with the PMI Executive Team to shape the organization’s strategy and advance the project management profession worldwide.
“Thank you to all PMI members who answered the Call for Nominations and to all who voted in the June 2025 election,” said Ike Nwankwo, PMI Board Chair. “Your participation and vote helps ensure strong, diverse leadership at the highest level of our organization and influences the future of PMI and our profession.”
The Board of Directors will determine the Chair and committee chair roles for 2026 later this year. These will be announced at the 2025 Annual Membership Meeting on 13 November.
