Overview

This training provides the practical knowledge needed to recognize how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and complete a project, which meets the deliverable requirements of the customer within predictable duration, effort, and cost parameters. Success as a project manager and project team is contingent on comprehension of the basics of mature project management. Through discussion, facilitation and practical exercises, learners will comprehend the major process areas of project management. Using the framework provided, major process areas can be integrated and applied during each phase of a project's life cycle. This training will focus on how to integrate key thoughts, forms and templates into effective processes that can be used to proactively manage projects and the constant challenges impacting them — an important task for successful project teams.
