    Funding Resources for Military Spouses

    Many military spouses pay nothing out of pocket for certification.

    While not an exhaustive list, here are some funding options that might help.

    Federally-Funded, No-Cost Programs:

    • My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA)
      • MyCAA supports spouses of currently serving service members on Title 10 orders and in the E1-E9, W1-W3, and O1-O3 rank bands
      • Request an ETP 
    • WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) 
      • The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides free training and certification funding for jobseekers. Military spouses may qualify as dislocated workers. Please contact your local Workforce Development Office to learn more.

    GI Bill (Chapter 33 and 35)

    • Note, the Chapter 33 and 35 programs are reimbursement programs
