Project Management Institute to Host PMI Global Conference 2019

PHILADELPHIA, PA

Leading Industry Professionals to Gather in Philadelphia to Discuss Innovation Made Possible by a Project Manager

Project Management Institute (PMI) will bring together thousands of project and program managers, chapter leaders and business professionals from around the world to share knowledge, strengthen community and lead the evolution of the project management profession at its annual Global Conference held from October 5-7 in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Among the conference’s highlights, this year’s event will feature an opening keynote address from Adam Grant. On Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m., Grant will deliver his keynote presentation, “How Non-conformists Move the World.” Grant explores how we can all get better at recognizing and championing new ideas, how to overcome fear and doubt and how to build cultures that welcome diverse perspectives and honest feedback. Grant is one of the world's 10 most influential management thinkers and a member of Fortune's 40 under 40. Wharton’s top-rated professor for six straight years, and a presenter of TED Talks that have been viewed 11 million times.
