Project Management Professional (PMP)®

PMP Eligibility Requirements
- 4-year college degree
- 3 years of experience leading and directing projects
- 5 years of experience leading and directing projects (without a 4-year degree)
- 35 hours of project management coursework (Need an online class option?)
If you do not meet this criteria, consider the CAPM Certification (see below) instead.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
Regardless of career stage or project management experience, the CAPM can distinguish individuals in the job market and enhance credibility and effectiveness working on, or with, project teams.
The Certified Associate in Project Management certification offers recognition to practitioners who are interested in, or just starting a career in project management, as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge.
CAPM Eligibility Requirements
- Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
- 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam. Our Project Management Basics online course fulfills this educational prerequisite.
