Procter & Gamble upgrades nearly 20-year-old software and work processes

Through successful risk management and the creation of technical and project management office (PMO) teams in various regions, global consumer products company Procter & Gamble upgraded a system that serves the heart of the company’s US$84 billion business. The project, which was a 2012 PMI Project of the Year Award Finalist, impacted a portfolio of 250,000 products ranging from laundry detergent to pharmaceuticals to snacks.
