PMI Lexicon of Project Management Terms

The PMI Lexicon of Project Management Terms offers clear and concise definitions for more than 400 of the profession’s frequently used terms. Using a standardized language promotes better communications among project teams, reduces misunderstandings across global and cross-functional collaborations, and is an essential component of any mature profession. Definitions in the Lexicon were developed by volunteer experts, and PMI standards committees are chartered to use the Lexicon terms without modification
