The PMI^® Research Conference — held every two years — provides the opportunity for researchers, executives, advanced project management practitioners and other stakeholders to present and discuss new project management findings. With the goal of guiding project management research and the future of the profession, attendees discuss their current needs and the knowledge they have gained through the course of their research.

Conferences include many invited speakers and speakers presenting peer-reviewed research papers on a wide variety of project management-related topics, attracting hundreds of attendees. Conference attendees receive a CD-ROM of the entire proceedings at no-cost. It is also available after the conference for purchase in the Marketplace for those not in attendance.
