The PMI Research and Education Conference is a premier international project management research and education event. The conference has been held by PMI biennially for the past decade.
The conference brings together the audience of scholars, senior practitioners and students of project management and allied disciplines. It provides the opportunity for attendees to present and discuss new project management research findings and teaching methods.
To facilitate networking and preserve the sense of intimacy, we have traditionally limited usually limit the event to 400 attendees. In 2010, however, we will increase the number of possible attendees to 500 to accommodate the growing interest of the research and education community. The conference registration is usually available on a first-come-first-served basis.
In the previous years, the event program has featured plenary speakers, peer-reviewed papers and student poster sessions. In 2010 we are adding symposia, general poster sessions and an education track to the program. In addition, the event always provides opportunities for discussion and networking. With registration, conference attendees receive a free CD-ROM of the proceedings.
The 2010 PMI Research and Education Conference will take place in Washington, DC, USA, on 11-14 July 2010.
The call for paper, poster and symposium proposal submissions for this event usually opens on 1 June of and closes on 1 December of odd years.
